Billing Terms and Conditions

4. Disputed Charges

  • Notification Period: If you dispute any charges, please notify us in writing within 15 days of the charge date.

  • Resolution: We will review and respond to billing disputes promptly and fairly.

5. Refunds and Credits

  • Processing Time: Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 5–7 business days of approval.

6. Taxes

  • Customer Responsibility: You are responsible for all applicable taxes, including but not limited to sales tax, VAT, or GST, as required by law.

  • Tax Exemption: If you are tax-exempt, you must provide a valid exemption certificate at the time of purchase.

7. Billing Errors

  • Corrections: Any identified billing errors will be corrected promptly.

  • Overcharges: If overcharged, you will receive a refund or store credit for the overpaid amount.

  • Undercharges: If undercharged, we will issue an invoice for the outstanding amount.

  • Payment Processor: We process payments securely through Shopify Payments. We do not store your credit card information.

  • Maximum Liability: Our total liability for any claim under these Terms is limited to the total amount paid by you in the six (6) months preceding the claim.

  • Jurisdiction: These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

  • Venue: Any legal proceedings related to these Terms will be brought exclusively in the courts located in Delaware, United States.

13. Entire Agreement

These Billing Terms and Conditions, together with our Terms of Serviceand Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Summit & Hearth regarding billing and payment matters and supersede all prior agreements or understandings.
